Ricky Gervais is hosting the 69th annual #GoldenGlobeAwards tomorrow night (January 15th). I'm a pretty big fan of his - I enjoyed his off-color stuff from last year's show, and I'm looking forward to whatever he throws at us this time around. I created this hedcut portrait of Gervais for the Wall Street Journal just a few years ago for his first leading man role in the film, "Ghost Town". Frankly, as much as I like him - this ain't my favorite hedcut. In hindsight I would've preferred finding source material that featured his fangs a bit more. One interesting observation I remember from studying his mug so carefully is that he and Rosie O'Donnell have almost the exact same facial features. I know that may sound weird, but trust me - they do!
