Wall Street Journal Hedcut - Patrick Stewart - X-Men 2

The very first Wall Street Journal hedcut I ever created for Joe Morgenstern's weekly film review column was of Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier for the first "X-Men" film in 2000. I won't burn your eyes with that first horrible effort...let's just say I was relatively new to this new stippling technique that had become iconic for the Journal. 3 years and about 150 hedcuts later, I had another opportunity to try my hand at Mr. Stewart's mug - this time for "X-Men 2". This one doesn't embarrass, so here it is as the newest film "X-Men: First Class" opens nationwide today!
